is a designer, researcher, and writer passionate about the intersection of the built and ecological environments. She graduated from Northeastern University with a Masters in Sustainable Urban Environments and a B.S. in Architectural Studies. She is involved in research-driven design and placemaking to create sustainable, climate resilient cities and communities.
Currently, Avery is the Interim Communications and Advocacy Manager at transportation advocacy nonprofit Bike Newport; Research Creator at Future Earth, and she is on the City of Newport's Energy and Environment Commission.
